24×48 inches. oil and acrylic on canvas. I struggled with this piece immensely. I didn’t have a clear plan of what I wanted this to be… just an idea of a woman safe and content in the dark of night. Initially I painted her in a dress and with a lot of facial details… it didn’t sit right with me and I cannot explain why other than I didn’t like it. Funny, I really like her now! Yes… art is personal.
