Oil on canvas. 48×24 inches. I actually teared up painting his eyes. I knew I had to portray the angst and suffering he dealt with which meant I had to think deeply about his plights. To really portray him, I felt he had to evoke a pensive, deep-thinker, mind-swirling appearance.
